Currency in Sri Lanka
The currency of Sri Lanka is called Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR). The exchange rate is variable but 1 LKR corresponds approximately to 0.4 DKK. In Sri Lanka you can also use US dollars (USD).
It is best to switch to the local currency, which is possible on arrival at the airport or at the hotel. Bring USD or EUR to get a favorable exchange rate. You can also use all common credit cards in Sri Lanka.
Language of Sri Lanka
